One of my aims with this site is to share the great resources that are available to bushcraft enthusiasts. One of the best that I have encountered is the A-Z of bushcraft and Survival site. Here you will find an array of amusing videos on essential bushcraft skills by presenter Andrew Price. The production is excellent and I look forward to further initiatives from Andrew and his crew. As a sampler I have embedded the fire making lesson. Enjoy!
With all due respect, why not keep this Australian? This chap is a beginner, he is in England and he does not know the difference between tinder and kindling. He relies on rubber strips "ferral!" rods and lighters.
ReplyDeleteThis is your blog, and obviously you can go whichever way you want, but for what it is worth I would advise going Australian, or at least transfering methods to use Australian flora and fauna, and to go primitive.
Primitive is long term, and it is sustainable.
If you know little yourself, then I understand the difficulty you are under making a choice on what to post. Do some research first, check out the posts on my blog if you like to give you some idea. Regards, Le Loup.
